Aquarius New Moon

The Sun and Moon join hands for a New Moon in Aquarius @ 15degrees on February 4th at 1:03 pm PST. Aquarius is an Air sign- the waves depicted in its symbol commonly mistaken for water are energy waves. And though its symbol is the Water Bearer it is spiritual energy being poured forth, wisdom, a higher intellectual freedom. Freeing us of the past and outdated thought both individually and collectively. Aquarius rules Individuality, uniqueness, technology, the internet, groups, and aspirations or goals, because it rules future and forward thinking. As well as the way we are all connected by energy.

 

The planetary ruler of this new moon is Uranus. Uranus (the unexpected) and Mars (physical body/energy and god of war) are within conjunction (touching) to each other and Mars is just coming off a square (challenge) to Pluto. Was this last week intense? Did you feel like rebelling? Or were you exhausted? Or were you feeling empowered? Or some roller coaster of all three? I feel ya. There can still be some intense energies lingering. Expect the unexpected and watch yours and others tempers, and be physically conscious. Good vibes are coming…

 

Sun, Moon and Mercury all in Aquarius- Bringing us inspiration, new ideas, plans for ideas, a great time to think outside the box and to communicate your ideas! With this kind of energy it is wonderful to take the opportunity to write down any dreams, inspiration, new thoughts or ideas. Write, write, write because the energy comes and then it goes. But what it can leave you with are nuggets to the next steps to fulfilling your dreams.

 

AND this New Moon and Mercury are all in sextile (easy energy) to Jupiter! Bringing blessings, expansion and opportunities to talk about your ideas and plans, share them with friends groups and community, and plant seeds to harvest in the following months.Jupiter also governs our beliefs, so it is really important to clean out the beliefs in our mind that are outdated or hold us back from opportunity. Plant new beliefs that you not only resonate with but that also raise your vibration, contribute to your well-being, sense of self worth and success!

 

This New Moon will finally feel like we started 2019!

 

The month has all planets in direct motion! Great time for new beginnings, initiation, forward movement, and meetings of all kinds.

 

Venus joins Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, urging us to whistle while you work. Because work you must to get organized, take action, tackle the mountain that is 2019. Venus here all month says let’s enjoy making money, taking care of business and being disciplined!

 

If you’re not feeling all this great opportunity and optimism, hold on. Stay true. It will come. Not only are you probably just recovering from all manner of astrological and galactic events. You’ve also just been hit by the Chiron bug. At 29 degrees Pisces, Chiron was very much a part of our Lunar Eclipse at 0 degrees Leo a couple weeks ago and its impact reverberated deeply. Chiron is the Wounded Healer and we may have had some old wounds come up??? Do I belong? Am I worthy? Why am I even here/who am I? Sometimes these old wounds come up to help us claim the answer, our truth at a greater level. We can choose to stay in the confusion and pain or we can choose to love ourself, move forward, trusting the Universe to guide us. I hope you’ve worked through most of it. Chiron at the last degree of the last sign of the zodiac gives an extremely strong message- you are a Spiritual Being having a human experience and you are here to heal your human self, integrate (and master) the physical and master your spiritual vibration. But take heart because honestly the energy is shifting and so much love and light is integrating, so put your focus there. Have hope, be present, see the good, be grateful and Jupiter will expand that feeling and bring you opportunity for more. Work hard, but bring your joy to your work too. So much of life is wash on/wash off. But it’s in that discipline and focus combined with this New Moon energy that those moments of inspiration can hit us in a flash and change our perspective. Be present because the wind is shifting and who knows what goodness is coming in on these new waves.
