New Moon in Leo Ritual- 7/31/19, 8 degrees Leo at 8:12pm PST

We have a beautiful New Moon in Leo coming up on July 31st. It has several special qualities; it is conjunct Venus, is a Super Moon and a blue Moon (2nd blue moon in a month), and Mercury stations direct as well!

This is a much-welcomed opportunity to Rise and Shine! Sometimes we forget that our Sun (the ruler of Leo) is a Star! So, dream big and reach for the stars. After the July eclipses, this is the beginning of a new cycle that asks you and supports you to have the courage to be yourself. To allow Love & Light & Abundance (Leo & Venus) to flow into you. Creating a New Moon ritual to call in all the feel goods of this exalted Leo and Venus energy will surely plant the seeds of your desires and bring it into manifestation, to you.

Intention- You will be calling in Love, Courage, Shining brightly, abundance and your desires. “Everything that is meant for me in my Highest Good is now flowing into my life. I call in Love, Light, Abundance and the courage to be my Self”.

Let’s start with what you’ll need:

A bowl of water

A small candle votive or floating candle

Yellow, orange, and green and/or clear stones/crystal(s)

Sunflower or marigold flowers

Pieces of paper

Pen

Matches

I recommend doing this ritual outside if possible, under the New Moon and stars. Within 48 hours of the New Moon.

Place the bowl with water in the center of your area or circle. Add the candle to the middle inside the bowl. Add the petals of the flowers. Add the crystals. Write down your specific intentions that you want to feel, create, call in and manifest. To make the most of this Leo energy make sure these intentions call on the courage to be yourself, draw in love and light and allow or even challenge you to Shine. What do you need courage to express, do or create? The ruler of Leo is the Sun itself! The giver of life to this planet and ourselves. Ask for the energy and empowerment to live the life you desire, full of abundance, love and freedom. Ask for inspiration and creativity to flow. Ask for opportunities to show up and be You and to be well compensated for it! Ask for, affirm and be grateful.

Put the pieces of paper into the bowl. Swirl the water around the light (candle) until all the things in the bowl are moving in a harmonious direction and the flow takes on a life of it’s own. Release your intentions to the Universe and give thanks for the growth that is about to happen in your life. You can anoint yourself with the water if feel to. When you feel complete, blow out the candle and remove it from the bowl. Put the bowl and it’s contents someplace safe and let it sit overnight and into the light of the new day.

The darkness of the moon is fertile ground for the seeds of our intentions to germinate and ground before coming into the light and manifesting.

When your ritual is complete, take out your crystals and keep them with you as a reminder of your intentions. Pour the water with the flower petals and pieces of paper wherever you feel to. Now Rise and Shine!

If you would like to continue to focus on this manifestation, take the candle and the crystals, place the candle at the center and arrange the crystals in a circle around the candle. Everyday until the full moon light the candle and say a prayer of gratitude for all you have and all you have set your intention to receive.
